The main topic of the VI KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum is: “Kazakhstan: 20 Years of Sustainable Growth, New Horizons For Investments and Cooperation”
At 16:00 on 17 May 2011, the KazMunayGas press centre (12th floor, Block A, 19 Kabanbay Batyra Avenue) in Astana will host a press conference on the preparations for the VI KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum. The forum will be held on 4-5 October 2011 in the Independence Palace.
The KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum is a momentous political event in the petroleum and energy industry of Kazakhstan and the Caspian region. Over the course of two days, the heads of government agencies from various countries and major international energy corporations, along with world-renowned and authoritative industry experts, will share their views and experiences on the key industry issues for Eurasia and the world. The forum will include plenary sessions, discussion panels, roundtables, thematic seminars and the KAZENERGY Youth Forum.
The main topic of the VI KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum is: “Kazakhstan: 20 Years of Sustainable Growth, New Horizons For Investments and Cooperation”. To achieve the objectives of the forum, every year the KAZENERGY Association invites influential speakers and leading experts in the field of energy and geopolitics to participate in the event. This year, one of the moderators of the forum will be the CNN legend Larry King.
Every year, about 1000 delegates from 40 countries attend the KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum in Astana. Government support for the VI KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum is provided by Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Oil and Gas, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Environmental Protection, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Industry and New Technology, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Economic Development. The general sponsors of the event are KazMunayGas and Tengizchevroil.
One of the latest pieces of news about the forthcoming forum is that the accredited organiser will be ITE Group plc (which includes the Kazakhstani company Iteca). An agreement on this has been reached between the KAZENERGY Association and ITE Group.
Under the auspices of the KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum, a G2B format exhibition will be held in the same venue. The theme of the exhibition in 2011 is health, safety and environment.
