KIOGE 2015 - from exploration and production to refining and consulting
The 23rd Kazakhstan International Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference (KIOGE) will take place on 6 – 9 October 2015 in Almaty. Over 350 companies from 25 countries are expected to attend, along with national stands from Austria, Germany, and China.
The Vice Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Magzum Mirzagaliyev has confirmed his participation at this year’s exhibition.
Other industry leaders visiting the exhibition include: Chief Executive Officers of AtyrauNefteMarsh, Atyrau and Pavlodar Oil Refineries; Larissa Zhumagaliyeva, Head of the Agency for Entrepreneurship and Industrial Innovative Development, Akimat for Atyrau Oblast; Amirbek Tulegenov, Chairman of the Board, Aktau Seaport Special Economic Zone.
A delegation of Russian businesses and manufacturers represented by the Engineering Union of Kazakhstan, along with representatives from the Korea Association of Machinery Industry (KOAMI) will also be present.
The adjoining KIOGE Conference will be held on 7 – 8 October 2015 at the InterContinental Almaty – The Ankara Hotel in Almaty.
The theme for this year’s conference will be ‘Improving Oil and Gas Production in Kazakhstan, which will be moderated by Mukhit Saurambayev, Managing Director for Geology, Chief Geologist of KazMunaiGaz. Tengizchevroil and geology expert Bazar Yeskozha will give their speeches, followed by an award ceremony by KazService Union of Service Companies.
This will be followed by a drilling and production technology session involving leaders from Turkmenneft, Geofizika Research and Production Company and CGG. ТСО, NCOC, Lloyd's Register Energy, and SAIT Polytechnic who will share their experiences on increasing the local content and development of domestic workforce.
Day two of the conference will focus on transportation and supply diversification, business process optimisation, environment protection and discharge limitation.
Workshops will also be included in the event including one focused on the ‘Advantages of Swagelok fittings’ Ozna will also speak on the ‘Increase of Field Operation Profitability for Kazakhstan’s Oil and Gas Industry’, whilst Tien-Shan Engineering will discuss the application of complex yet effective solutions for energy sources accounting in the oil and gas industry.
