ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE KIOGE 2026 — THREE DECADES OF STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT IN 2026, FROM SEPTEMBER 30 TO OCTOBER 2, THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE KIOGE WILL TAKE PLACE — A KEY INDUSTRY EVENT IN KAZAKHSTAN AND CENTRAL ASIA IN THE OIL AND GAS AND ENERGY INDUSTRY SEGMENT, OPENING NEW HORIZONS FOR TECHNOLOGICAL AND BUSINESS DIALOGUE.
Over three decades, KIOGE has become the main platform for knowledge exchange, building business connections, and discussing strategic challenges in the oil and gas industry. The anniversary status of the exhibition emphasizes the continuity and resilience of the project as an institute of industry dialogue. Amid the global transition to new energy models, KIOGE 2026 will provide a unique opportunity to discuss Kazakhstan's role in transforming global energy chains, develop practices for international cooperation, present technological solutions and roadmaps for modernizing the entire oil and gas cycle, and create an environment for interaction between business, government, science, and international partners at the highest level. As tradition dictates, the KIOGE platform will feature an exhibition and conference.
Anniversary exhibition exposition: scale and new names
In 2024, the KIOGE exhibition and conference showed impressive results: 5,087 unique visitors from 51 countries, 331 participating companies, 700 conference delegate listeners, 79 speakers, a rich business program, and numerous B2B contacts. These figures confirm that KIOGE remains a large-scale and in-demand platform for industry communications. The anniversary year will be no exception.
To date, over 70% of the exhibition spaces have already been booked, and the growth in the scale of the exhibition is evidenced by the addition of a new 8th pavilion. Currently, companies from 8 countries — Kazakhstan, China, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Romania, Singapore, and Turkey — have confirmed their participation. Traditionally, major oil and gas extraction companies, oil and gas exploration and production companies, oil service companies, manufacturers of oil and gas equipment, personal and industrial protection equipment, automation, and instrumentation will present their stands.
Among the new participants are companies such as Central Stream, Corrocoat Caspian, MIS Kazakhstan, nVent Thermal Kazakhstan, Primechs, Regent KZ, Energoskan, Etus, and others, presenting themselves at the KIOGE platform for the first time. This indicates a growing interest in the national oil and gas market and the desire of international players to participate in technological and investment projects in Kazakhstan.
KIOGE 2026 Conference: from global challenges to practical solutions
The KIOGE 2026 conference program traditionally covers key strategic directions for the development of the oil and gas and energy industry. The central event will be the Plenary Session "Global Integration: Kazakhstan's Role in New Energy Chains." Participants will discuss how the global energy transition affects Kazakhstan's positioning in the world supply chains, what opportunities international technological partnerships open up, and which best global integration practices can be adapted in the national energy sector.
Special attention will be given to strategic sessions. Among them: "Geological Exploration — Visionaries' Perspective," where industry leaders will share forecasts and new approaches to subsurface exploration, as well as the discussion "Results of a New Stage of Localization: Industrial Clusters as the Foundation of National Economic Resilience," where experts will discuss the significance of production localization for the country's long-term development.
A significant place in the program will be taken by the session "Industry Legends on Challenges and Victories" — an open dialogue with veterans of the oil and gas sector. Veterans will share personal stories, memories of major achievements, and challenges the industry faced at different stages of its development.
The panel session "New Legislative Challenges" will address issues of environmental regulation, the implementation of ESG standards, and effective water use. These topics are especially relevant in the context of global attention to sustainable development and environmental standards.
On the second day of the conference, the focus will be on the practical aspects of industry development. The program will open with the strategic session "Gas Industry and Petrochemistry – New Projects," where promising initiatives and plans for industry development will be presented. This will be followed by the session "Transport and Logistics – Geopolitics of Routes," dedicated to the issues of supply stability and the formation of new transit corridors. An important event will be the annual panel discussion "Oil and Gas Engineering," where experts will discuss barriers to scaling localization, ways of technological modernization, and certification mechanisms as a basis for increasing Kazakhstan's industrial potential. The session has already become traditional and is held for the third time in partnership with the IMBC Institute.
The program also includes separate sessions for PR Meet Up, uniting questions of project localization in regions, and effective GR facilitation.
The final highlight will be the Foresight session, where moderators of strategic blocks will summarize the conference, highlight key conclusions, and outline plans for further cooperation and industry development.
KIOGE in the context of state strategy
The oil and gas industry has traditionally been one of the leading sectors for Kazakhstan's economy, forming a significant share of export revenues, tax revenues, and technological investments. In the messages of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and strategic documents, attention is paid to the development of deep processing, digitalization, environmentalization, and integration into global value chains.
The President of Kazakhstan emphasized that oil production in the country has quadrupled since independence, and the industry continues to be a strategic factor in national prosperity. The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan is responsible for forming state policy in the oil and gas sector and coordinating key industry projects.
KIOGE 2026 will be seamlessly integrated into the platform of the state's strategic course, aimed at technological renewal, reducing the carbon footprint, attracting investments, expanding localization, and strengthening international cooperation.
Official support
Traditionally, the event is supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty city, JSC "NC "KazMunayGas", ALE "Kazakhstan Association of Oil and Gas and Energy Complex Organizations KAZENERGY, the Union of Service Companies of Kazakhstan "KazService", the Kazakhstan Society of Petroleum Geologists (KONG), the Council for the Development of Strategic Partnerships in the Oil and Gas Industry – PETROCOUNCIL.
The event is organized by the Kazakhstan exhibition company Iteca and its international partner – the ICA Events Group.
