NORM – A LEADING COMPANY IN THE PRODUCTION OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

Norm is one of the leading companies in Azerbaijan’s construction materials industry.

The company operates the Norm Cement plant, which was constructed between 2008 and 2012 and has been operating in the market since 2013.

Norm Cement is the largest cement plant in the South Caucasus, with a production capacity of 6.500 tons of clinker per day and 2.1 million tons of cement per year. As part of its 2023–2026 strategy, the company has entered new construction materials segments:

• Ready-mix concrete
• Cement-based dry mixes
• Gypsum-based dry mixes and gypsum boards
• Chemical admixtures
• Logistics services

The company’s strategy for 2027–2029 years focuses on expanding into additional construction materials segments and increasing export opportunities.

Norm is a member of the Azerbaijan Cement Producers Association (ACPA) and the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA).

Norm’s sustainability strategy focuses on reducing environmental impact, improving resource and energy efficiency, and creating long-term value for people, communities, and the company. As part of its commitment to decarbonization, the has joined the Net Zero Accelerator and the Net Zero Roadmap of Azerbaijan Cement Producers Association to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.

Norm is also the first and only manufacturer in the South Caucasus region to produce API-certified (Q1, 10A) G Class oil-well cement.
