KOBLANDY LLP - GAS PRODUCTION AT THE KUBASAY FIELD IN THE AKTOBE REGION OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

Koblandy LLP has completed hydrocarbon exploration at the Kubasay field in the Aktobe region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The contract for hydrocarbon exploration was signed with the Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2004. 2D and 3D seismic surveys were conducted across the entire contract area. Seismic data processing and interpretation were performed. 11 wells were drilled, with commercial gas flow obtained in 3 wells. C1 and C2 reserves have been approved by the State Reserves Committee. In 2027 the company will start the production and commercialization of gas.
