Seminar will be focused on TCO Digital Transformation program which is focused on enabling business goals through an integrated TCO value chain and the process of competitive performance. The presentation will cover topics and successful examples of business transformation enabled through digitalization in the following areas: Safe and reliable operations, optimization production, FGP/WPMP resource maturation & project execution, as well as the impact on reducing the carbon footprint. The foundation of digital transformation at TCO are people - developing digital competencies and skills is critical to success. The digitalization program includes a comprehensive investment in training Kazakhstani employees, partnerships with Kazakhstani and foreign universities, local IT hubs, as well as involvement of Kazakhstani IT companies to bring digital products in TCO.

Marat Kuatov is holding a position of Digital Champion in Tengizchevroil. He is coordinating Digital Transformation program in TCO ensuring alignment with TCO business priorities, TCO business plans and functional digital plans. He participates in the governance process to prioritize the opportunities to be resourced, tracks Digital Roadmap progress and value capture across TCO value chain.

In his previous position, Marat worked as a Reserves coordinator in Reservoir Management Group and coordinated the delivery of the Resources to Reserves to Production to Returns while driving Competitive Performance across Resource maturation value driver. In 2017-2019 Marat worked in Improved Oil Recovery (IOR) project supporting subsurface project team working to maximize recovery from Korolev and Tengiz oil fields. From 2015 to 2017, Marat worked as a petroleum engineer, responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability and productivity of the Tengiz and Korolev fields.

Marat Kuatov joined TCO in 2012 as a field petroleum engineer supporting Tengiz well site activities and Sour Gas Injection system. He graduated with honors from the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (Russian Federation) with bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering. In 2021 he completed 2-years MBA program in the Imperial College London.

Dinara Sadulova is a Communications Specialist in HSE at Tengizchevroil LLP. As part of the team to implement new HSE programs and initiatives, she coordinates Chevron Corporation's initiative to introduce an electronic Permit to Work at all TCO facilities along with other projects.

In her previous position from 2014 to 2018, Dinara worked as a Behavior Based Safety Coordinator in HSE, where she coordinated the program and encouraged employees to conduct observations, identify unsafe employee behavior as part of building a culture of Operational Excellence.

From 2018 to 2020, she was a Save a Life Coordinator that was under a Campaign to prevent fatalities.
From 2014 to 2017, Dinara was an Analyst in Incident Investigation Team.

TCO was the first company in the oil and gas sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan to switch to an electronic Permit to Work system. The transition has taken place in stages since the end of 2019.

The seminar will focus on the main advantages of the Electronic Permit to Work System, which include not only process optimization, but also ensuring safety and improving production efficiency. The company will share its best practices in implementing the system at production facilities and the results of its work.
