The KIOGE 2024 conference and exhibition is a key event in Kazakhstan's oil and gas industry and will be held for the 29th time at the September 25-27, 2024.

Facts about Kazakhstan's oil and gas industry:
- Kazakhstan is ranked 12th in the world in terms of confirmed reserves of oil and gas condensate
- 22nd in natural gas reserves and 17th in oil and gas production
- About 200 oil and gas fields are located on the territory of the country
- The total volume of reserves is estimated at 11-12 billion tons
Comprehensive plan for the development of major oil and gas and petrochemical projects for 2023-2027 in Kazakhstan:
- The adopted Comprehensive Plan is aimed at implementing 20 significant projects in the oil and gas industry, oil, and gas refining, as well as oil and gas chemical industry with expected investment volume of $37.3 billion
- It is planned to increase production capacity at the Shymkent petroleum refinery from 6 to 12 million tons by 2029
- Construction of the first integrated gas chemical complex for polyethylene production with a capacity of 1.25 million tons with an infrastructure project of a gas separation complex with a processing capacity of 9.1 billion m3
- Seven projects with a total investment of about $10 billion are planned as part of geological exploration projects and field development.
